Ardyce M. Koski

PLOVER, Wis. - Ardyce M. Koski, 94, passed away Oct. 8, 2022, at Whispering Pines Assisted living while under the care of hospice services. She was born Jan. 4, 1928, in Ironwood, Michigan, daughter of William and Saima (Pelto) Eade.

Ardyce graduated from Luther L. Wright High School and received an Associate Degree from Ironwood Junior College, now Gogebic Community College. After marrying Oliver Koski, they resided in Escanaba for four years prior to returning to Ironwood.

She also resided in Appleton, Burmuda, Lombard, Illinois, and most recently Arbor Vitae. After her daughters were raised, she became a loan counselor and medical transcriptionist. Ardyce enjoyed lake living, gardening, music, playing bridge, and other social activities. She also enjoyed Tai Chi and loved her dogs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver. Surviving are her daughters, Cheryl (John) Rundquist, of Ironwood, and Karen (Tom) Genisot, of Stevens Point; four grandchildren, John (Melanie) Rundquist, of Buffalo, New York, Shelley (Nate) Robinson, of Grand Haven, Michigan, Chad (Amy) Genisot, of Irma, and Aubrey (Tony) Drew, of Weatherford, Texas, and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family thanks Promedica Hospice for the compassionate care provided over the past five months and also the staff at Whispering Pines Assisted Living, which was her home for the last 5 years, for their professional loving care.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Pisarski Funeral Homes are honored to be serving the family.
