Peter E. Fredrickson

HAZELHURST, Wis. - Peter E. Fredrickson, age 61, of Hazelhurst, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022. He was born on Dec. 12, 1960, in Ironwood, Michigan, the son of Clarence and Valerie (nee Phillips) Fredrickson.

Peter juggled four jobs every day - Woodleigh Syndicate, Alice and Joe Smith, Ascension Lutheran Church (recently retired) and family. Peter was always giving of himself; he didn't say no, and never asked for anything in return. He truly took care of everyone. Peter was a loving husband, father and son. He was a family man who loved to spoil his girls. If you were blessed to have known Peter, you would know he was not only loving and caring, but just an all around good person who was just happy go lucky. To say Peter will be missed, is an understatement.

Peter was preceded in death by his father, Clarence "Sonny" Fredrickson; uncle, Robert Fredrickson; and mother-in-law, Lauraine Schneider.

He is survived by his wife, Julie Fredrickson; mother, Valerie Fredrickson; daughters, Elizabeth and Kathryn (fiancé Logan Campbell); brother, David (Linda) Fredrickson of Michigan; sister, Paula (Stephen) Furlich of Minnesota; sister-in-law, Elisa Fiscus of Illinois; nieces and nephews, Eric (Bonnie) Furlich, Emily (Chris) Herbst, Greg (Kylie) Furlich, Zachary (girlfriend, Dana) Fredrickson, Jon (girlfriend, Jessica) Furlich, Travis (Gwendolyn) Fredrickson, Maxx (girlfriend, Amanda) Fredrickson, Amelia Fiscus and Jacob Fiscus; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Virginia Furlich, Frederick Furlich, Lily Herbst and Eloise Furlich.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19, at Ascension Lutheran Church in Minocqua, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Fortune Lake Lutheran Camp of Crystal Falls, Michigan, or to the Oneida County Humane Society.
