Bessemer celebrates Veterans Day with school program

BESSEMER - Unlike Memorial Day, which honors veterans who lost their lives while serving in American wars, Veterans Day celebrates all U.S. veterans.

Retired U.S. Army Col. Tom Jurkowski made the distinction while providing the main address during a Veterans Day ceremony in the gym of the A.D.
