ORANGE, Calif. - Gladys Marie (Reini) Berg passed away at home in Orange, California, on Feb. 18, 2023. She was the oldest of three daughters born to Ruth and William Reini on July 6, 1933.
She was a 1951 graduate of Luther L. Wright High School and a proud member of the marching band.
She married Roger John Berg of Bessemer on Jan. 26, 1952. In 1961, they moved and settled in Lakewood, California, where they raised their three daughters.
Gladys' employment included working in purchasing, accounts payable and receivable.
After retirement, she and Roger went on many cruises and traveled the United States in their mobile home.
Gladys was a talented craftsperson who enjoyed crocheting, knitting and sewing; however, her passion was scrapbooking meticulously chronicling her families' lives.
Gladys is survived by her husband of 71 years; three daughters; two sons-in-law; five grandchildren; three granddaughters-in-law; five great grandchildren with another arriving soon; and her sister, Nancy Rowe (Reini).
