LOMBARD, Ill. - Guy Richard Jacobson, 63, of Lombard, Illinois, passed away Jan. 29, 2024.
Guy was born July 19, 1960, to Diane and Richard Jacobson, formally of Ironwood, Michigan. He graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in 1978.
He graduated from DeVry Institute of Technology in 1981 with a degree in electronics engineering. He worked for Zenith and the U.S. Postal Sevice.
Guy married Jennifer Pomerich at Summit Lake on Mt. Evans in Colorado on 9/9/99. She survives. He is also survived by his three sisters, Donna (Eric) Owens, West Bend, Wisconsin, Darla (Dan) Gratton, Wausau, Wisconsin, and Sandra (Wayne) Collette, Mundelein, Illinois; and nieces, nephews and their families, Ashley (Tyler) Picchiottino and Wesley and Collyns, Lea (Scott) Stelpflug and Isla, Vanessa Gratton, Stephanie Gratton, Jaclyn (Jake) Collette, Jessica (Geddy) Collette, Kim (Eric) Peto, James (Adavee) Pomerich and Lydia and Ethan, Will (Meg) Pomerich, and Douglas, Alex and Meggie Hagg. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Guy loved the Green Bay Packers and had a kind heart for dogs. He and Jennifer welcomed many needy dogs into their loving home.
