IRONWOOD, Mich. - It is with deep sadness that we share the news of Ronald Gene Lake's passing in his home in Ironwood Township on Feb. 21, 2024. Ronald was born on May 28, 1946, to Ernest Lake and Jennie Aquilano. Ronald touched the lives of all who had the honor of knowing him.

Ronald found his greatest joy in the love and connections he shared with his family and friends. He leaves behind his loving wife, Phyllis Lake, and a beautiful legacy of love carried on by his daughters, Rondalyn Kivisto, Heather Lake and Kristy McRae. His memory will also be cherished by his grandchildren, Tyler, Brandon, Amber, Nevaeh, Jasper, Estelle, Madalyn and Vivian; as well as great-grandson, Hudson, and another great-grandchild on the way. Ronald's presence will be deeply missed by his sons-in-law, Brian, Mark and Scott; his sisters, Sharon and Linda; his brother-in-law, Phil; nieces, Dawn and Tina; and many other beloved family members.

Ronald's true passion was found in the great outdoors, where he found solace in hunting, fishing and simply being surrounded by nature's beauty. His playful spirit and infections laughter will be remembered by all who knew him and the memories of his adventures with his grandchildren will be cherished forever.
