End of Year Fun

FIRST GRADERS of the Ironwood Area Schools wait in lines for a chance to slide on large inflatable slides that were set up in the gymnasium at the school on Friday, as part of their annual field day. Due to rain, the outdoor activities had to be cancelled. The activities were sponsored by the Ironwood PTO, which, according to PTO President Marcy Kusz, will not be operating next year due to lack of volunteers stepping up to become operatives. "If someone would like to pick it up, they are more welcome to," she said.
