GCCE alternative program celebrates 14 graduates

IRONWOOD - The Gogebic County Community Education Alternative High School Completion Program celebrated the graduation of 14 students on May 29.

Rose, gold and white balloons - representative of the class colors - led the path to the ceremonial room, filled with family members and friends of the graduates.

"Each of you sitting here today has had a positive impact on one or more of these graduates," said Travis Powell, superintendent of Ironwood Area Schools, as he welcomed everyone's presence.
