City of Ironwood opens Norrie site to housing

IRONWOOD — In an August 1 special meeting, the Ironwood City Commission approved a request by the Ironwood Area Schools District to sign a release of reverter in relation to property that once held the former Norrie School.

The unanimous action, with all members present, now opens the site to housing construction by an as yet unnamed local developer.
