Gogebic County Fair

MORGAN MAKI leads her market steer, an Angus Hereford Cross named Jensen, around the arena at the Gogebic County Fair on Saturday during the 4-H Market Auction. Jensen, this year's Grand Champion, weighed in at 1302 pounds, and was purchased for $7 per pound for a total of $9114 at Saturday's auction. The Gogebic County Fair was hosted at the Pat O'Donnell Civic Center this year, with temporary structures, such as the arena and animal tent shown in rear, going up in the days leading up to the fair.
