Brian C. Lindberg

GREEN BAY, Wis. - Brian C. Lindberg, age 54, of Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly at his home, Monday, Aug. 26, 2024.

He was born Dec. 23, 1969, in Michigan, son of the late Charles Lindberg and Sharon (Ruona) Lindberg and was a graduate of Luther L. Wright High School, Class of 1988, in Ironwood.

Brian continued his education at Northern Michigan University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry. Later he earned a Master of Arts in Education from the University of Phoenix in 2005. Brian married his longtime friend, Maria Novascone, in September of 1996. He was employed as a Quality Assurance Manager for American Foods for the last 15 years.

Brian was an avid collector and loved spending time researching various topics of interest. His knack for finding valuable items came in handy when a friend or family member needed help with a project. He had a kind, calm, generous nature and always could be counted on to help others, no matter what the circumstances. He was very intelligent, and family and friends frequently sought his advice, as he had vast knowledge on a variety of topics, which will be deeply missed.

Brian is survived by his wife, Maria; his mother, Sharon (Lindberg) Laabs; siblings, Cariann (Kasieta) Lindberg and Lisa (John Meyers) Lindberg; step-children, Spencer Kitzman and Alyssa Kitzman; and many nephews, nieces, cousins and loving friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Lindberg.

Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 108 S. Marquette St., Ironwood, Mich., 49938, Saturday, Sept. 28, from 9 to 10 a.m.. A memorial Mass will be celebrated by Brian's family at 10 a.m. He will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery in Ironwood.
