Bessemer names Selin deputy clerk

BESSEMER — At a Monday evening meeting, the Bessemer City Council approved former utility clerk Lisa Selin as the new deputy clerk.

She will replace Samantha Zacovec, recently named by the council as the clerk/treasurer.

Zacovec, in turn, had replaced Mandy Lake, who also was named this fall as city manager.

Lake had served as interim city manager since early this year while retaining her original title as clerk/treasurer.
