Ironwood dominates Bessemer

IRONWOOD — Bessemer has some pretty strong options inside with bigs Audrey Stone and Maddie Guglielmotto. Ironwood made sure they didn’t get the ball very often as they blitzed the Speedgirls for a 56-13 victory Tuesday night.

“That was definitely the game plan going in, to limit scoring opportunities for the bigs inside,” Ironwood coach Jesse Mackey said. “I thought our girls had great position all night and our guards brought a lot of pressure to their guards. They couldn’t even get the pass in.”
