Ironwood School Board recognizes donations

IRONWOOD — Members of the Board of Education for Ironwood Area Schools learned on Monday that the Christmas spirit already has been expressed for its students.

At its monthly meetings, the board makes a practice of recognizing donations, and the latest recognition acknowledged several generous gifts of winter outerwear.

Items included a large quantity of kids’ hats and mittens from an anonymous donor, along with two large bags of handmade hats and mittens from community member Marla Tienanmen.
