IRONWOOD — It snowed, just a dusting, during the overnight period before Saturday’s Sisu Ski Fest. Delaney Fitzpatrick noticed the slower track, at least in some areas, but she wasn’t complaining. There was snow, something that was in short supply, even in Ironwood, the last couple of years.
“The last two years I think were rough for everyone with the low snow and limited training,” said Fitzpatrick, of St. Louis Park, Minnesota. “This year I’m just excited to have snow and looking forward to the rest of the season.”
