MUK UP

BRISTOL SCHNELLER, 6, stands on the podium as the winner of the "Girls Under 8" division at Saturday's Muk Up at Snowriver Mountain Resort's Blackriver Basin in Bessemer Township. Dan Tregembo, one of the coaches for Team Z, a local youth ski racing team, said the turnout was about average and the snow conditions were heavy. Cody Mukavitz, son of Tony Mukavitz, for whom the event is held in memorial, said, "It's all about the kids, right? So it's something that we enjoyed as a family is skiing together and racing together as a family, and to be able to continue that for the future generations is always a good thing."
