AT FAR LEFT, Roy Eli Brown, a local singer and songwriter who spent 27 years in Nashville before returning here, performs on March 14 at the Powder Keg Saloon, which is on the second floor of the Powdermill Inn in Bessemer Township. Brown will perform again there on April 18 from 5 to 8 p.m. Saloon manager Chad Pflueger is excited to host anyone who wants to play there.

BESSEMER TOWNSHIP - Almost two decades after it had last been open, the Powder Keg Saloon, near Big Powderhorn Mountain Resort, has reopened its doors in Bessemer Township.
Recently, manager Chad Pflueger took some time to speak with The Globe and to give a tour of the location.
Situated on the second floor of the Powdermill Inn, the soaring cedar ceiling and enormous windows bring in lots of light during the day and let out lots of light at night.
