EERIE CREATURES of the night, such as this one, greet anyone daring to walk the "Terror Trail," a Saturday evening Halloween experience made possible by Northern Iron County Engaged Residents, a Hurley-based nonprofit that promotes community events and initiatives at the Hurley K-12 School Adventure Trails. NICER's night trail, which included animatronic skeletons and other scary characters, was geared to older kids, whereas an earlier afternoon Trick-or-Treat Trail was designed for younger children.
