Kindergarteners share tips on how to prepare star bird

IRONWOOD - When facing the prospect of preparing your first Thanksgiving meal, including turkey and all the traditional fixings, a little advice may be in order.

Even those who have cooked the big bird before still may have some questions.

Companies from Butterball to Betty Crocker have folks at the ready to answer questions via 1-800 numbers or online chat rooms.

But there's nothing like a little local home-cooking advice. Enter Angela Berglund's kindergarten class at Luther L. Wright K-12 School in Ironwood.

Berglund asked her students to explain how to cook a turkey.

She shared their responses with us and we, in turn, share them with you.
