Viola F. Juno

PUEBLO, Colo. — Viola F. Juno, 97, passed away peacefully on Aug. 30, 2013, in Pueblo.

She was born Dec. 17, 1915, in Ironwood, Mich., to Victor and Olga Koponen. She graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in 1933.

Viola was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George A. Juno; grandson, Victor Juno; brothers, Leonard and Gilbert Koponen; and sisters, Helen Winkler and Gertrude McKinstry.

She is survived by sons, Allan (Sandy) Juno and George V. (Judith) Juno; Juno grandsons, Erik (Michelle), Douglas, Todd, Christopher and Frank; granddaughter, Rose (Isador) Zuberman; great-grandson, Nicholas Juno; sisters-in-law, Helen Oberto, Mary Juno and Hiro Juno; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Viola was a lovely lady, always kind, loving and generous. She will truly be missed. She was a member of Our Lady of the Meadows Catholic Church in Pueblo.

At her request, there will be a private inurnment service.
