Clem Chlebowski

RAMSAY, Mich. — Clem Chlebowski, 76, of Ramsay died on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at U.P. Health Systems in Marquette after a brief illness.

Clem was born on Sept. 30, 1938, in Wakefield, the son of the late Louis and Carmen Chlebowski.

He married the former Carol Kaseno of Bessemer on Aug. 20, 1960. Clem worked for the U.S. Forest Service until his retirement in 1994. He enjoyed deer hunting, trapping, playing old-timers softball and attending his granddaughter's activities.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; daughter, Kim (Pete) Pelissero, of Dodgeville; granddaughter, Lindsay (fiance Matt) Pelissero, of Marquette; and Lacey Pelissero, of South Range; two brothers, Lawrence, of Hoyt Lakes, Minn., and Glen, of Ironwood; numerous brother- and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jeff; nephew, Chad Chlebowski; and infant brother.

The Lakeside Memorial Chapel in Wakefield is assisting the family with the arrangements.

At Clem’s request, there will be a private family memorial.
