    IRONWOOD — The Gogebic County fairgrounds were the place to be this weekend as hundreds of the best drivers in vintage and modern ice oval racing rocked around the historic 1/2 mile track at speeds up to 100 MPH at the Ironwood Snowmobile Olympus this weekend. Even the women and kids got into the act and a drone even showed up to check out the action.     By RICHARD JENKINS [email protected] Both the Ironwood Public Safety Department and the Michigan State Police Wakefield Post recently received community investment grants from Enbridge, Inc. According to Brian Trekas, the safety coordinator for Enbridge's Superior Region, the IPSD received $2,500 to help purchase gas-monitoring equipment.     CRYSTAL FALLS, Mich. - Kathleen Jane Costa, 86, of Iron Mountain, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility in Crystal Falls. She was born Feb. 19, 1929, in Iron Mountain, daughter of the late William and Edith (Gibson) Butler.
