    By RICHARD JENKINS [email protected] ONTONAGON — A Greenland Township man is facing charges after allegedly shooting a 23-year-old Ontonagon man this weekend. Cole Wascher, 24, was arraigned Monday in 98th District Court in Ontonagon on charges of assault with intent to murder and possessing a firearm while committing a felony. The assault charge carries a sentence of up to life in prison, while the firearm charge is a two-year felony. In the airport manager’s report, Michael Harma said the new commercial carrier, Boutique Air, which takes over from Air Choice One on Aug. 1.     EWEN, Mich. — Anthony C. Merenda of Ewen, Michigan passed on Feb. 8, 2020 at the age of 64. He was born in Toledo Ohio in 1956 on Jan. 18, raised in Brighton on Clark Lake in lower Michigan, near Ann Arbor. He went to school in Howell and went to college at Washtenaw Community College in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Anthony worked for the Howell Schools for 25 years as a custodian/maintenance person.
