GLISSON [email protected] WAKEFIELD - Wakefield city council members learned Monday evening that no interest has been expressed yet for a seat left vacant when former member Pat Mann resigned last month, effective Feb. 28. "As of today, we've had no applications for the vacant council seat, so get the word out," said city manager Bob Brown. Scott Erickson, city manager for Ironwood, informed the commission engineers are expected to inspect the building today, looking at damaged roof trusses due to snow load. “Once the structural engineer is in there he’ll be able to let us know if it’s still fine where people can come in and crews can do the work around them or not,” he said.     IRONWOOD, Mich. — Steven Andrew Bratu, 59, died tragically in an automobile accident on his way to see loved ones out of state on March 23, 2019. He was born to parents Samuel and Margaret Bratu in Hancock, on Feb. 1, 1960. On July 21, 1979, he married his high school sweet heart, Rose Schneck, who survives.
