Under the county’s new land use ordinance, property owners must now apply for a TRH administrative permit through the zoning department.     By P.J. GLISSON [email protected] MARENISCO TOWNSHIP — A retired bridge on Copps Mine Road might see new life if the Marenisco Board of Trustees can manage to relocate it. That was the word from Bruce Mahler, township supervisor, on Wednesday. “There’s a steel bridge that spans the Presque Isle River, and the Gogebic County Road Commission is going to be taking that bridge out,” said Mahler by phone.     MERCER, Wis. - Mary Irene "Missy" Klopatek (nee Slazas), of Mercer, passed away July 18, 2022, after a 17-year battle with cancer. Her final days were spent at home enjoying her deck and beautiful view, surrounded by family and visiting with friends. Missy was born May 20, 1962, in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, to Stanley and Judith Slazas. She married the love of her life, Scott Klopatek, on May 1, 2002.     BESSEMER, Mich. - Kathryn F. Rundell, 95, of Bessemer, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 28, 2022, with her children by her side. Kathryn was born on Sept. 28, 1926, in Bessemer, to Lawrence L. and Lillian I. Martin. She was the eldest of their six children. She attended local schools and graduated from A.D.
