    Today's edition of the Daily Globe will be the last daily edition of the newspaper as it pivots to a weekly format next week. The Globe, as it will be known, will be published weekly on Thursdays, mailed to subscribers as the daily has been for a number of years, and available in boxes and from vendors, as well.     By ZACHARY MARANO [email protected] HURLEY — The Hurley Education Foundation is hosting a golf tournament at Eagle Bluff Golf Course in Hurley on Sunday at 11 a.m. to raise money for projects at Hurley School District. The tournament is a two-person 18-hole scramble with three divisions, including men’s, women’s and mixed. The tournament is open to anyone over 18 years old.     GREEN VALLEY, Ariz. - Robert Lee North passed away suddenly on Dec. 7, 2021, Green Valley. Robert was raised in the Hurley, Wisconsin, and Ironwood, Michigan, area. At age 14, he enlisted in the U.S. Army under the name Lee North, and served in the Occupation of Japan and the Korean War. His time in Korea earned him two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star.     GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Joanne Kennedy Renterghem age 91 of Greenville passed away Nov. 27, 2020, at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. She was born in August 1929 and raised in Ironwood, the daughter of John and Anne (Olson) Kennedy where she graduated from high school. She graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a bachelor's degree in education.
