IRONWOOD TOWNSHIP - The parking area next to St. John's Lutheran Church was full and cars lined a section of Airport Road in Ironwood Township Saturday as the church held its annual pie social fundraiser. "We've had a good steady rush most of the day, lots of different community members coming out and supporting us," said Cortney Ofstad, the president of the church council. MANITOWISH WATERS, Wis. - Arloa (Lillstrom) Barnabo died peacefully at her home on Oct. 11, 2018. She was born on Father's Day, June 18, 1933, to Mauri and Hilma (Johnson) Lillstrom. Arloa graduated from Hurley High School in 1951. During her senior year, she fell head over heals in love with her best friend and soulmate, Donald W. Barnabo.
