BESSEMER, Mich. - Nancy M. Berg, 77, of Bessemer, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2019. Nancy was born Dec. 29, 1941, to V. Melvin and Shirley (Koskie) Jacobson, of South Bessemer. She grew up on a dairy farm and was very active in 4-H, showing dairy animals and other projects at the fair. Hurley, Wis. — Mary Elizabeth (Trtan) Nantell, 97, of Hurley, passed away on Dec. 13, 2019, at the Villa Maria Rehabilitation Center. Mary was born in Ironwood, Mich., on Nov. 30, 1922, to George and Jennie (Perkovich) Trtan. She attended Newport Elementary and Luther L. Wright High School, graduating with the class of 1941.
