DURHAM, N.C. — Robert M. Hawley, 66, of Supply, N.C., died Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015, at Duke University Hospital in Durham after a long bout with heart disease.
Bob was born Dec. 18, 1948, in Ogdensburg, N.Y., and later graduated from the University of South Carolina and spent many years as an independent businessman in the Myrtle Beach, S.C., area.
He is survived by his sons, Jonathan Hawley and David Hawley, both formerly of Ironwood, Mich .; three sisters, and a niece.
