MATT SCHRANK, of Creative Signs, of DePere, Wis., puts the final painting touches on the new welcome to Ironwood sign on Wednesday afternoon. The old sign at the Wisconsin entrance to the city was destroyed by a drunk driver in December of 2015. An insurance payment of around $14,000 to the city covered the cost of the new sign. Dante Bott also worked on the sign.
