    IRONWOOD — Sisu VII came up lucky seven as weather and skiing conditions were nearly perfect to complete the Sisu Ski Fest on Saturday. No doubt the Sisu deserved a weather break and race director Jonathan Rulesh was only too happy to get it. "Sisu really came off well today," Rulesh said. As folks found their seats, there was a slideshow presentation displaying racers participating in the Sisu cross county ski races.   • Cold snap to last until Thursday

    IRONWOOD — The cold snap that arrived in Ironwood on Saturday night is expected to last through Thursday, according to the National Weather Service. High temperatures in the single digits, ranging to 7-below on Tuesday, are forecast for the next three days, not unusual for January in Ironwood. The low reading for the 24-hour period to 7 a.m. Sunday was minus 6.
