Floyd was born on April 11, 1935, son of the late Floyd W. and Pauline (Hodge) Erickson Sr. He joined the U.S. Army and was very proud of serving his country. Peter was born on Sept. 28, 1941, in Wakefield, Mich., to Earl and Victoria Christy.
