    WAKEFIELD - The Wakefield City Council interviewed seven potential candidates for the available city manager position this week. On Wednesday, the city council interviewed Perry Franzoi, Eva Smith-Fergason and Mary Servia. On Friday, the council interviewed Mike Womack, Jason Laumann and Richard Brackney.     BESSEMER — Bessemer students are scheduled to participate in a career exploration day at A.D. Johnston High School on Thursday, March 3, inside the gymnasium.     ONTONAGON, Mich. - Joan Mildred Kilmer Crandall Nygard, of Ontonagon, died peacefully in her sleep at her home on Feb. 14, 2016. Born in Ontonagon on Jan. 22, 1946, just minutes after her twin sister, Jean Lockhart, Joan was one of five children born to Alfred Kilmer, a printer at the Ontonagon Herald newspaper, and Ida Kilmer, a homemaker and an employee at the Ontonagon County Courthouse.     LONDONDERRY, N.H. - Henry "Hank" A. Peterson, of Londonderry, passed away on Dec. 23, 2015. He was born on June 15, 1932, in Hurley, Wis., son of John "JB" Peterson and Gertrud (Matila) Peterson. He grew up on the family farm and attended school in Hurley. Hank was a member of the Wisconsin National Guard for 14 years, in the 725th Engineer Battalion.
