MINNEAPOLIS — Marlys Jean (nee Edwards) Ahlstrand passed away in Minneapolis on Aug. 7, 2021, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Marlys was born July 15, 1948, in Ironwood, Michigan. She was a daughter of Charles and Emily (nee Olkonen) Edwards. Marlys grew up in Ironwood and graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in 1966.
