    By ZACHARY MARANO [email protected] BESSEMER — Following a public hearing, the Gogebic County Board of Commissioners adopted guidelines for their Rehab Emergency Repair Program at their regular meeting on Wednesday. According to a packet provided at the meeting, this will allow a third party – the Gogebic-Ontonagon Community Action Agency – to administer loan repayments and recaptured funds from the Gogebic County Rehab Program on emergency home repairs.     by Veronica Cruz [email protected] HURLEY - The Hurley Dairy Queen owner, Moypa Khan, wanted to give something to the community, so he asked his friend from New Zealand to paint a mural depicting aspects of the region. Khan met the artist, Laken Whitecliffe, in college and said they've been friends for a long time. The mural is a Northwood scene, including wildlife and a man sitting at a campfire.     Doris Riegler died on Aug. 19, 2022, after battling dementia. Doris was born on Nov. 24, 1929, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Percy and Hattie (Ryan) Crosby. She graduated from Southern High School of Baltimore in 1948 and received her associate degree from Bloom Community College. She married Wayne H. Riegler in Baltimore, on Sept. 18, 1949.
