Deputy warden Mike Yon recapped the events of Aug. 17 at a Sept. 8 quarterly meeting of the OCF’s Community Liaison Committee. IRON BELT, Wis. — Donald W. Pirk, 64, of Iron Belt, died on Monday, Sept. 12, 2016, in Iron Belt. He was born June 22, 1952, in Burlington, the son of the late Leslie and Marion (Normolle) Pirk. Don grew up and attended schools in the Burlington area. He was a self-employed accountant for many years and most recently worked for Walmart in Ironwood in the accounting department.
