IRONWOOD, Mich. — Dorothy M. Hagerty, 99, of Ironwood, died Monday, Oct. 14, 2019, at her home. Dorothy was born on Aug. 14, 1920, in Philadelphia, Pa., a daughter of Charles and Emilie (Boekel) Linsenmaier. She was a certified home health aide for 30 years. Dorothy moved to Ironwood in 1999. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Ironwood. Dorothy took pleasure knitting and throughout the years donated countless pairs of hats and mittens to local schools. BESSEMER, Mich. — Curtis “Snuffy” Nyman, 68, a lifelong resident of Bessemer, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Oct. 14, 2019. Curtis was born on April 27, 1951, in Bessemer Township, a son of Hilmer Carl and Vivian Olga (Hendrickson) Nyman. He attended A.D. Johnston High School in Bessemer and graduated in 1971.
