Charles 'Chuck' E. Hulstrom

WAUSAU, Wis. - Charles "Chuck" E. Hulstrom, 63, Wausau, passed away on Monday, Nov. 3, 2014, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Chuck was raised in Ironwood, Mich., on Lake Superior at Little Girl's Point Park as "a caretaker's son" which he was very proud of, and loved to be at the lake. After graduating high school he moved to Pontia where he married Linda (Cadeau), and then settled in Wausau to raise his family.

Chuck was accomplished at electronics and enjoyed his work. He also had many hobbies including reading, music, camping (with the grandchildren), traveling and making maple syrup. Chuck was very proud of his family and his Swedish heritage.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 41 years, Linda; sons, Dustin (wife Kristen, granddaughter Baylen and grandson Kasen) and Owen (granddaughters Serenity and Olivia); along with his sister, Bonnie Maki (husband Tom, children Todd, Jay and Jenny). He is preceded in death by Butch and Harriette Hulstrom and brother, David.

Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, at the Brainard Funeral Home, 522 Adams street in Wausau. Rev. Sean Motley will officiate. Visitation will from 4: p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home. All are welcome to attend and celebrate and remember Chuck's life.
