Guy M. Fleming

ASHLAND, Wis. - Guy M. Fleming, 62, of Gile, died peacefully Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016, surrounded by his loving family, at Ashland Health and Rehabilitation Center in Ashland, following a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.

He was born Nov. 11, 1953, in Milwaukee, and moved to Ironwood, Mich., at the age of five, where he attended G.N. Sleight School and graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in 1972. He managed the Conoco Service Station on Cloverland Drive in Ironwood for several years, and began his career with the K-Mart Corporation at the Jupiter Store in downtown Ironwood, retiring as sales associate at K-Mart in the Ironwood Commons after 27 years of service.

Guy enjoyed fishing and all sports, and was a die hard Green Bay Packers fan. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren and will be dearly missed.

On July 8, 1992, he was married to the former Mary C. Bruneau at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Ironwood by the Rev. Norbert Landreville.

Surviving are his wife, Mary, of 24 years; three sons, Bob (Becky) Isvorski, Ironwood, Jason (Delilia) Isvorski, Wausau, and John (Melissa) Isvorski, Whiteland, Ind .; 12 grandchildren; two sisters, Lora Westeen, Hurley, and Darlene (Larry) Cervo, Ironwood; stepfather, Donald Fleming, Ironwood; mother-in-law, Elerine Bruneau, Hurley; brothers-in-law, Bob (Joanne) Bruneau Jr., Hurley, and Ron (Marty) Bruneau, Whitehall; sisters-in-law, Gail (Harland) Stone, Hurley, and Paula (Robert) Sellhausen, Kimball; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Preceding Guy in death were his mother, Barbara (Gustafson) Fleming; and father-in-law, Robert Bruneau.

Out of respect for his wishes, cremation has taken place.

Private family services and interment will be held.
