WAUSAU, Wis. — Lois F. Chatterson, 90, of Hurley, died Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She was born Feb. 13, 1927, in Morse, the daughter of the late Louis and Ellen (Smith) Deringer.
She graduated from Glidden High School. Her husband, Francis G. Chatterson, preceded her in death on July 17, 2011.
Lois is survived by her son, Steve (Peggy) Chatterson, of Ironwood, Mich .; two daughters, Kathryn Jackson, of Ironwood, and Patricia (Roger Benjamin) Wanden, of Hurley; nine grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra, in 1949.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, July 17, 2017, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ironwood. Rev. Kurt Brandon will officiate. The family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
Inurnment will be at the Greenwood Cemetery in Morse.
