Terrance G. Tassi

WAUSAU, Wis. - Terrance G. Tassi, 74, of Presque Isle, died April 9, 2019, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital with family by his side after a brief battle with cancer.

He was born on March 9, 1945, in Harvey, Ill., son of Guido and Catherine (Zriny) Tassi.

Terry moved to Presque Isle in 1972 where he was a musky guide for a short time before establishing his own residential construction company, C.A.T. Construction.

Terry was an avid baseball fan but his favorite team was whatever team his son Cale was on.

Terry was also an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed many trips. He cherished spending time with his granddaughter Tatum and loved cooking for his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Kim Tassi; son, Cale (Kaitlyn) Tassi of DePere, Wis. and granddaughter, Tatum and baby grandson due in July. He is also survived by his mother, Catherine Tassi of Elwood, Ill.; brother, Gary (Cathy) Tassi of Custer Park, Ill. and nephew, Gary Tassi Jr. of Custer Park and by many other relatives, friends, employees and fishing buddies.

He was also preceded in death by his father Guido Tassi.

A memorial will be held Saturday, April 27, at Nimsgern Funeral Home Chapel in Woodruff from 2-5 p.m. with a final cast and military honors at 4 p.m.
