Maxwell Layne Kasper

IRONWOOD, Mich. - Max was the most unique, philosophical, deep thinking and sensitive being. We are eternally grateful that he chose us to have the honor of knowing his true self and loving him. He was brilliant and kind and had an immeasurable depth in his spirit.

When he loved, he loved absolutely. He could be so serious or crack us up laughing with his sense of humor that was his and his alone. He loved his dogs and best buddies Ariah and Steele completely. He left a few of us down here on earth, but his spirit is alive in all of us guiding us and filling us with radiance and love.

We send all of our love to our little Maxer; Mom, Jamie Hellen; Dad, Rich Kasper; sister, Ruby Kasper; brother, Gabriel Schwartz; Grandma Marybeth Hellen; Nona Bonnie Kasper; Grandpa Johnny Hellen; Auntie Bethany (Hellen) and Uncle Nick Basso; cousin, Owen Basso; Auntie Christina (Josh) Smith; Great-grandma, Helen Kasper; the Hellen, Kasper and Semo families, his best friend Brandy, and many other loved ones.

We know in our hearts that you were too big for this world. We feel you at peace, living your dream of fulfilling a greater purpose. We love you so big and feel your love surrounding us and carrying us through this heart breaking time.

We will celebrate Max's life on Saturday, Feb. 1, at Cold Iron in Ironwood from noon to 4 p.m. We will formally honor his memory at noon.
