Bernie Ylkanen, a museum docent, hosted the "Forchuly" event with his dog, Nisu, who was happy to meet new friends. Bessemer alone will feature three bands tonight, Friday and Sunday evenings in the downtown area. Ramsay, in Bessemer Township, also will have a Saturday night live band.     IRONWOOD, Mich. - Kenneth L. Lindquist, 96, of Ironwood, died peacefully on Saturday, June 25, 2022, in the company of his loved ones. He was born Jan. 25, 1926, in Ironwood, son of Leonard and Lempi (Mary) Lindquist, and graduated from Hurley High School in 1944. He served honorably in the U.S. Army Air Corps from April 1944 to November 1945 at Fort Sheridan, Illinois.     WAKEFIELD, Mich. - Myrtle Belk, 85, of Wakefield, died in peace on May 22, 2022, in Gogebic Medical Care Facility. She was born as Myrtle Norris on Nov. 3, 1936, to Wilmer and Wyrtle (Sullivan) Norris in Collins, Mississippi, where she also was raised. She was the last surviving member of her parents' five children. Myrtle - who had no middle name but sometimes went by "Lynn" - was a funny, fun-loving, plucky personality.     RAMSAY, Mich. - Evelyn June Kahila, 96, a lifelong resident of Ramsay, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 20, 2022, at her home. Evelyn was born on Dec. 25, 1925, in Bessemer Township, a daughter of Richard and Grace (Barron) Grenfell. She attended the Ramsay School. On July 21, 1945, Evelyn was united in marriage to Kauno "Toby" Kahila.
