  • Masons plan First Friday snowman contest

The lodge is sponsoring a build a snowman contest as part of the city’s monthly First Friday activities March 6. “It’s just so the kids can get out and have some fun,” said Jeff Nielsen, who currently leads the lodge.     BESSEMER, Mich. - Donald W. Gutowski, 87, of Bessemer, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020. He was surrounded by his beloved family. Donald was born on May 6, 1932, in Bessemer, a son of John and Pauline (Mojeck) Gutowski. Donald proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
