Dave was born Aug. 23, 1953, in Ironwood, to the late John and Alice (Cirolini) Lucas. He married Marsha (Erickson) Lucas on June 2, 1979, in Ironwood. Dave graduated from Luther L.     IRONWOOD TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Anthony J. "Tony" Gonsowski, 88, of Ironwood Township, died unexpectedly Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015, in his home. Tony was born Jan. 15, 1927, in North Chicago Junction, Ill., son of the late Frank and Rose (Leja) Gonsowski, and graduated from Crane Technical High School in Chicago.     WAKEFIELD - As winter break approaches, the Alcohol Drug Abuse Prevention Team Thursday taught students in the Wakefield-Marenisco School District dangers of addiction and consequences of driving under the influence.   • Iron County approves new jail deal with Lac du Flambeau tribe

    HURLEY — The Iron County Board of Supervisors Wednesday approved a deal allowing Lac du Flambeau inmates to be incarcerated in the Iron County Jail. “I’ve got room to house prisoners,” sheriff Tony Furyk told the board of supervisors’ finance committee in November when he first brought up the deal. “I certainly don’t want to refuse prisoners because it generates income here.
