Lena was born the daughter of Joseph and Domenica (Novascone) Negri on April 1, 1918, in Gile. She attended grade school in Gile and Montreal.     BRUCE CROSSING, Mich. — William E. Perttu, 68 of Bruce Crossing, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Dec. 12, 2022, at Aspirus Ontonagon Hospital. He was born Aug. 15, 1954, in Wakefield, to the late Arvo and Mildred (Saukkooja) Perttu. William was preceded in death by his parents, as well as several aunts and uncles. She was daughter of the late August and Edith Swanberg and was born on Aug. 31, 1931. She was baptized at Salem Lutheran Church in 1946 and attended Newport grade school and graduated from Luther L.
